Stephen Fay ACA - PrincipalStephen trained with a 'Big 4' practice, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) in 1999. Stephen writes for several national property magazines, & speaks regularly at property events about property tax issues.
Stephen has been a property investor since 1999, & has built up a substantial & profitable portfolio, which he self-manages.
When he is not working, Stephen likes to play football with his sons, follow Manchester United, & indulge his love of real ales.
Gary Major ACA CTAGary qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA), in 2005, & also as a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), gaining the highest UK tax qualification available. Gary now specialises in tax-planning for companies & individuals, & has extensive experience in dealing with companies.
Away from the office, Gary enjoys playing football & braves working in the Blackpool office as a supporter of their more illustrious footballing neighbours Preston North End. Gary also enjoys following Lancashire County Cricket Club & travelling, having visited Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the USA & Europe.
James FayJames is an Accounts Assistant, and also deals with the post, banks cheques, issues and receives Engagement Letters, checks client HMRC accounts for tax rebates to be paid, and generally keeps the office ship-shape.
He is learning the basics of accounts preparation and tax-planning, and is known for his friendly nature and sense of humour.
In his spare time, James enjoys keeping fit, boxing, and watching Arsenal FC not win trophies!
Hailey LappinHailey is a Trainee Accountant, and is studying for the ACCA professional exams. Hailey is responsible for accounts preparation for both our personal tax clients and companies, including filing statutory accounts for limited companies. She also has responsibility for running the monthly payroll and quarterly VAT returns for clients.
When she is not working, or studying for her ACCA exams, she likes to hit the gym after work and socialise with friends.
Scot MorrisseyScot is a Trainee Accountant, currently studying for the AAT professional exams. Scot has responsibility for filing statutory accounts for limited companies, dealing with postal communications and general administration, as well as lending Stephen a hand when dealing with HMRC enquiries.
Scot is learning the basics of tax-planning and accounts preparation, and assists colleagues with running the monthly payroll for clients and filing quarterly VAT returns.
In his spare time, Scot enjoys socialising and playing in the pub darts league of which he is a member.
Catherine HenshallCatherine is a Trainee Accountant, and is studying for the ACCA professional exams. Catherine is learning the basics of tax-planning and accounts preparation, and assists colleagues with running the monthly payroll for clients and filing quarterly VAT returns. She also has responsibility for filing statutory accounts for limited companies, filing annual returns and dealing with general administration.
In her spare time, Catherine likes to keep fit by swimming and going to Zumba classes, and also enjoys spending time with friends and family.
