About Us
We specialise in providing tax-planning and accounting services, exclusively for property investors. We can also deal with non-property companies and sole trades, for clients who also have non-property interests e.g. a contractor / consultant companies.
The firm is led by Stephen Fay, an experienced property investor with a substantial property portfolio, built up since 1999. This combination of expert property tax knowledge, combined with real-life property investment experience over 20+ years, enables us to offer property investors a unique service.
Most of the team have been with the company for many years, and as a group of people we have a wealth of expertise and experience, to help property investors with their tax-planning and accounting needs.

Stephen Fay BSc
Stephen, the firm’s Principal, qualified as a Chartered Accountant with a large international firm (Arthur Andersen, who subsequently became Deloitte), in 2000, and worked for various large banks and financial services companies before becoming self-employed in 2004.
Stephen has been a property investor since 1999, and along with his wife, has built up a self-managed multi-million pound residential property portfolio. Stephen is well-known in property investment circles, and writes monthly pieces for several national property magazines, and also supplies quotes and commentary to various national media outlets.
In his spare time, Stephen likes to play football with his two young sons, support Manchester United, and enjoy good Malbec wine.

Gary Major BSc ACA CTA
Gary is a Senior Manager, having qualified in 2005, acquiring a wealth of experience with a medium-sized firm before then joining a large international firm (PriceWaterhouseCoopers, known as ‘PwC’) and completing the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification (the highest UK tax qualification).
Gary joined our firm in 2011, and along with Stephen is a primary contact for clients, able to explain our work in plain English to clients, and provide tax-planning advice for a range of scenarios, including for individuals, companies, & partnerships.
In his spare time, Gary is a father of two young sons, and supports Preston North End FC.

Catherine Keightley BSc ACCA
Catherine is a Senior Accountant, having qualified with our firm in 2018 as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), scoring particularly high marks throughout this qualification phase. Before joining us in 2015, Catherine read Mathematics at University, achieving an ‘Upper Second’ (2:1) degree class. Catherine’s main area of expertise is dealing with complex property companies and partnerships, as well as personal and corporate tax-planning.
In her spare time, Catherine enjoys fitness and fashion, and spending time with family and friends.

Charlotte Faiers BSc ACCA
Charlotte is a Senior Accountant, having qualified with our firm in 2020 as a Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), scoring particularly high marks throughout this qualification phase. Before joining us in 2016, Charlotte read Mathematics at University, achieving a First Class degree result. Charlotte main area of expertise is dealing with property investment & development companies, partnerships & individuals, including corporate groups and unusual scenarios.
In her spare time, Charlotte is interested in health and fitness, and supports Manchester United & Wigan Warriors.

James Fay
James is an Accountant, and has been with our firm for over 10 years. His main area of expertise is dealing with private landlords, including rental accounts & CGT work, personal and partnership tax returns work, and some types of property companies. James also looks after the important office admin required for the company to operate compliantly, such as client on-boarding, Engagement Letters, anti-money laundering checks, and software and systems operations.
In his spare time, James enjoys weight-training, preparing and enjoying good food, and watching Arsenal FC not win trophies!

Thomas Kitt
Tom is a Trainee Accountant, having joined our firm in 2024. Tom is progressing through the ACCA (Chartered Certified Accountant) qualification programme, and will be fully-qualified in 2027. His main area of expertise is dealing with private landlords, including rental accounts & CGT work, personal and partnership tax returns work, and some types of property companies. Tom also looks after other key areas, such as client on-boarding, anti-money laundering checks, and liaising with HMRC to resolve issues.
In his spare time, Tom supports Manchester United, and enjoys playing or watching a wide range of sports. He also loves spending time with his dog, Bow.
Jack Donaldson
Jack is a Trainee Accountant, on a Work Placement from school during March 2026. Jack is known for his prowess at Fifa & on the golf driving range, and he plays in midfield for Thornton Cleveleys FC, specialising in crunching tackles. Sadly, he supports Manchester City, but after 2 weeks in our office we will convert him into a Red Devil! It's Jack's birthday while he's with us ... we'll be giving him a red card!
Lewis Chiocchi-Spencer
Lewis is a Trainee Accountant, on a Work Placement from school during March 2026. Lewis also plays for Thornton Cleveleys FC, and is our 'Captain Fantastic', playing as an ever-present centre back. He's a Liverpool supporter - maybe he'll be able to turn their losses into profits while he's with us!
